SPIRITUAL
OPPRESSION
And What I Do
WHAT IS A SUPERNATURAL INVESTIGATOR?
Unlike Paranormal Investigating, Supernatural Investigating focuses on the living, rather than the dead, and the effects the spirit realm has on them.
Webster definition of Paranormal: Very strange and not able to be explained by what scientists know about nature and the world.

-The paranormal field can range from ghosts to UFO's to cryptids. Those in the paranormal field attempt to gather evidence of those things.
Webster Definition of Supernatural: What is unable to be explained by science or the laws of nature: of, relating to, or seeming to come from magic, a god.
The supernatural deals solely with powers and principalities of the spirit realm- the demonic, angels and God and how they affect people.

Taylor investigates, researches, studies and writes about situations and events that circulate around spiritual entities and their effect on people. She dedicates her time in assisting people who are spiritually afflicted- those who are oppressed by dark principalities.
This oppression can come in various forms: physical and mental- from hauntings to health, emotional to physical attacks and influence.
She works with youth, adults, the medical field and law enforcement with cases that range from hauntings to mental illness, self-harm to night terrors.

From Taylor
I’ve been weaved in to the paranormal all my life. My family practiced forms of spiritism and it bled into my spiritual DNA.

Realization of the spirit realm has always been “the norm” to me. I was seeing spirits and having visions pre Kindergarten; but when I would bring it up to anyone in my family, it was rebutted with such a confused (and sometimes negative) attitude, so I just kept it to myself. I find this in many youths.

I really only wanted answers as to why I was sensing things no one else did, and WHAT was I experiencing. That quest led me on a dark path beyond my imagination.
I began studying and researching anything I could about spirits and such. While other grade schoolers were reading Judy Blume books, I was reading “The Demonologist” (by Gerald Brittle) .
Back in the 1970’s & 80’s (pre-internet) it was difficult to find solid information on the paranormal- it was really seen as taboo back then. I was limited to books -- and ironically-- I kept coming across people who were involved with different aspects of the supernatural – so I dabbled in everything. Most pre-teen girls back then played with Barbies- I played with a Ouija board! (a big no-no, by the way!)

*I was casting spells at 8 yrs old
*At 11 I was teaching others how to perform a trances
*I was holding séances at 13
*I was doing psychic readings for money starting at 14 yrs old

All of which made things worse for me. It seemed the more I did, the more issues I had.
Every house I lived in was haunted - and I was always ill, despite no medical reasoning found.
I’d have night terrors and wake up with bizarre marks and bruises on me.
All of which created the inception of mental and emotional issues for me.

At an early age I started battling depression, and was cutting, in addition to drinking just to filter out what I was experiencing.

As I was a bit older, I had an experience which proved to me I wasn’t physically or mentally ill with anything… I realized I was sensitive to spirits. EVERY house I lived in was haunted because it was I who was haunted.

I started ghost hunting with my husband in 2000, and this morphed into investigating the paranormal. (For the record, I distinguish the two fields somewhat differently, as I relate ghost hunting to seeking out ghosts as a hobby and paranormal investigating as a more scientific and specialized and trained approach with cases involving specific hauntings). Due to the fact this field is so wide-spread now, it helps to categorize and define certain elements for a better comprehension.

Not many people knew about paranormal investigators at that time, but the onset of ghost hunting shows took off and the paranormal became relevant and extensive.

When I began to see COMMON DENOMINATORS WITH THE HAUNTINGS, this drove my passion to help others dealing with the same issues I had.
What common denominator? A haunting will always lead to spiritual oppression. (Spiritual oppression will not always lead to haunting, however). This ushered in my study and research into the link of all those aspects.

We went from investigating places for spirits, to focusing on the people and what was happening to them DURING these hauntings.

What I find is very thought-provoking, and it changes how we view reality.
